The Miracle of 6/15/01

God CLEARLY intervened in my life.
God gave me a sign
Date: June 15, 2001
Time: approx 1:15pm CST
How: The phone was ringing when I walked in the door, it was an answer to a prayer offered on my behalf by Todd Boyum on his driveway at approx 1pm CST. To be clear, I mean I spent approx 10am to 1pm with Todd at his house, he sent me off approx 1pm with a prayer and Jesus answered that prayer approx 15mins later with a phone call that led to me being wired rent money approx 4hrs later from a complete stranger in another state. Jerry disappeared from my life soon thereafter and I never met him in person and I could not find him after he disappeared. I don’t even know his full name but he was about 1500 miles away from me when this all happened and I did have a witness there and there is more to the story. Jerry wired me about $600.00 in total.

I think at the time I typed up a detailed account. I met him over the phone through my brother-in-law who broke character to ask this guy, Jerry about me. It was a miracle. Maybe someday I’ll add more about it here.

It bothers me to this day that I don’t have more “facts” about this whole ordeal.

My argument for not being a Christian previously was essentially that “it was not the truth and I wanted to know the truth.” However, Jesus said that he knew the truth and our best efforts from the likes of Socrates and Descartes (which very few people dispute) argue that we can’t know for sure if he was lying. Something has to be taken on Faith. I was so opposed to believing this that I believe this is why I received The Miracle of 6/15/01 and there can be no more mistaking that Jesus must have been not 90 or 99% right, but 100% right whether we understand what he said or even know what he said.
