P90X3 Classic Week 4 Day 1 Isometrix 22/90

This may be the first day I’ve done this one.

This is Day 22 of 90! Nearly 1/3 done. I miss my son. I hope he is doing OK at camp. Talked to Mom last night. She may join us in Sept on our 2nd pass whether it is with P90X or P90X3 again. Mom says my sons really likes P90X3. I do. And I am very optimistic about always being able to work in a 30min routine like this. It is the perfect complement to an idea I had for Kenpo years ago.

I OBVIOUSLY didn’t bring it. Some of the balances were hard. Some of the ones I could do with the difficult modifier but I’m not dripping with sweat.

I also know I need to adjust my diet but I’m surprised that I’m up +1 pound since I started. I lost 1lb/wk working at a Kenpo studio in 2009/2010 and my diet there was fast food, frozen dinners, and some salad. Not a good diet and only 3 days/wk of exercise. I fully expected to loose 2lbs/wk on P90X3 but I do believe I have gained some upper body muscle.

This is another one where a trainer would be great. I’m not sure I’m positioned properly on some of these like the Sphinx/Plank balance variations, I felt all of that in my supporting shoulder and so didn’t last 10 seconds for the most part.
