P90X3 Classic Week 1 Day 1 Total Synergistics

P90X3 Mat Original Config

P90X3 Classic Begins in a few hours.

We are not going to do the Lean. We are going to go ahead with the Classic program this time.

“Before” pictures have been taken.

MyFitnessPal app has been updated with a few new menus, meals and recipes.

Mats have been bought for my hardwood floor.

However, I once again have not planned my meals or reviewed the P90X3 exercise or nutrition material in advance but nevertheless I’ll figure it out. As it is only 30mins, my son and I are confident we can complete this and won’t be impeded when school starts.

He may miss 3 weeks for summer camp, but the little monster is planning to do P90X himself and P90X3 with me and workout up to 2hrs 15mins a day.

I’m scared already. He’s going to crush this. He’s also now back on target to make Eagle Scout at 17 and Black Belt prior to High School Graduation.

I’m excited. I may be able to post some relevant photos this time.

In order to have my Blog match my workout days I have to edit this post.

This program is Different than P90X. I felt like I was melting for 2hours after I finished Total Synergistics. I was like a furnace. I don’t recall this from P90X. I struggled with several routines and moves like Boat to Plow.

I think it also took at least 45mins to get through because of rewinding etc. I could not understand some of the moves. This is what I don’t like about not being in a “class” or “with” a trainer. I had similar issues in Kenpo. It takes me a min sometimes to figure out what is going on or how to move.

But it will come. We’ll press on. I expect we may Love to do this a 2nd time. I hope I lose 30lbs on this first pass though. I plan to do at least 1 3-Day Juice fast during this pass and I will have my diet and calendar etc all squared away by day 90.

My son may also go to 3 weeks of Summer Camp during these 90 days so we’ll see how we are going to deal with that. Only 1 is currently scheduled.

So if he and I start teaching or training Kenpo Students or clients, this blog is intended to show you where we walked the walk.
